What women want?

I have stumbled upon this nugget of truth throughout my years of probing the female psyche; women want what they want period! Regardless of how anyone on God's green Earth may feel, women truly embrace the theory that "It's my life and I don't care how anyone feels." This fact is made clear with the approach women take toward relationship. It is a "me first attitude" that comes across as blatant and reckless. Reckless in the sense that a woman would have a child with a man knowing full well he is against the notion of having children with her. This man is then expected to love his "baby mama" and support the off spring that was created through shame and regret. I love women; my sister is a woman, however, if the most selfish decisions aren't made by these creatures, who egos go unchecked and reach uncharted levels with "ready made" excuses such as " my biological clock s ticking" and the most absurd, "I didn't want to be an old mother." Such reasoning is usually followed by asinine statements such as "I'm okay with being a single mother." I have visited this topic several times and have come to the conclusion that I have been wrong with my approach to this recent generation of women and their issues. Such behavior has been festering for decades. However, I cannot tolerate the fact a woman will force a relationship whether it is beneficial or not just because she desires to be in one. Some may argue that men can be just as determined and misguided in their pursuits of what appears to be happiness; I suppose I will leave that topic for another day.

Am I alive?

Am I living or surviving? Is surviving living? These are a few questions I ponder as I walk the streets of New York. I suppose I am viewing myself as a reflection within the eyes of my fellow citizens. I wonder if I exude the same dis-pleasures. We fill our lives daily with many trivial trinkets to distract ourselves from such questions. I have believed for years that life is too difficult to attempt to live without a buffer; similar to how a strong alcoholic beverage needs a chaser in order to decrease the potency of the drink. It's amazing how people complain about the unpredictable nature which is life. Is life not like the weather; like your health; like religion; you pray but there is always a chance things may or may not be what you hope for. There is a 20% chance of rain and the same can be applied to one's health; even less that your prayers will be answered. The only controllable factor is one's self. What can be predicated without error is your own actions. Acceptance of this unavoidable fact will lessen the impact of the surprises that life offers. I love life and what can't be seen. I enjoy whether an action is positive or negative results can't be determined. I suppose that's why I wake up every day; I want to see how "things" play out.

I see beauty!!!

I must acquiesce in your attempts to claim beauty in it's entirety. Often it is said that beauty is in the eye of the beholder; such a statement has never been more true. If Jesus is the son of God, then you must be the daughter of beauty. I must sincerely admit that you are Medusa. I am frozen. I am stone!

I see her and it seems as if time has frozen. It feels as though I am spinning
from this glance of this endangered species. I greet her with a smile and I am
awake.. She is a shot of adrenaline.I she is beauty. All other beautiful women
have been spawned from her. She is the original. She is the first. I wonder how
she would respond if I described how she had a kinetic hold on a man she has
never even spoken with?
As a child I often scoffed at the idea of love at first sight but at this moment
I can fully appreciate Romeo and his determination. This women is my Juliet! I
wish to confess my thoughts of a future in which I make her my queen and I am
nothing more than a servant wishing to please his goddess with blind adoration.
My muse is the heat from one's first kiss and venture inside the forbidden
corridor in which the holy Grail is made home. This is she; the unknown
tranquility of a new found addiction plagues my soul. I will only traverse this
plan as a man once; my journey would end if rejected!

What are you?

There are major differences between what makes a woman a wife, life-long girlfriend and a "jump off," this is usually based on how she carry’s herself in public. The classiest women embody a demeanor of sophistication and elegance; An okay woman is one who is just ordinary, unspectacular; she is like the pear of the fruit world, delicious but not the first piece you want to eat. Another type of woman contains characteristics that are significantly less desirable. Such as, an insatiable desire for entertaining men sexually; a flirtatious disposition that borders on desperation; and a promiscuous lifestyle that justify the title of “jump off.”

Certain women have more options than others, due to their reputations, education, and overall physical attractiveness; simply put, ugly-dumb women do not get married generally speaking. Possessing all three at high levels will afford a woman opportunities that a "jump off" and life-long girlfriend can never obtain; these women are called wives. A wife has a high self esteem and will not subjugate herself to less than ideal standards before and during marriage. This woman, is the type to take you for 180 million like Michael Jordan's wife.

A life-long girlfriend is is a above jump off and can ultimately be classified as a mistress, or "side-piece." She will always be number two due to a complacent nature and comfort with a side role. Many women relish in this position if child bearing is an impossibility or if age and prior relationships have made her an undesirable candidate. She is more desirable than a “jump off” who is known for little more than giving a man a good time. A life-long girlfriend is a woman who is similar to Elaine from the show "Seinfeld." Elaine is a woman who doesn't want to get married or have children, ever! This makes her a revolving door as the girlfriend to many men. She is a pit spot.

The jump off is primarily a woman who is bruised and emotionally unable to connect because of traumatizing events within her life. She does not care what situation a man may be in, she is comfortable with draining him emotionaly and physically. These women have called many names throughout history. Home wrecker; leach; or gold digger. She is a step above stripper and or prostitute. The average jump off is unaware of her status and is thus able to function and appear as a respectable woman in society.)Men use and discard these women like condoms. This only adds to the unstable psyche of a jump off. Who I personally like to call the toxic lady!! This particular woman is reminiscent of the greatest strumpets throughout history. She is plastered with scarlet letters that scream "I am the unwife." A proper historical reference would be Marilyn Monroe. A real woman, never entertain the team!

Does it really matter?

Women who earn more for a living than a man in this modern society has been an issue for quite sometime. The issue may stem from some archaic belief that "a man can not be a man" within his household if he doesn't make more than his significant other; or a woman is unable to allow him to be a man due to his lack of earning potential. These issues primarily arise when societal standards are applied to any relationship in which a woman earns more than her man. However, another theory which can be factual is with more money, more responsibility is granted. An immigrant janitor in Mcdonalds' will never have as much power at the job as Oprah! This will often translate in the household. Throughout history, woman have been forced to take a subordinate role due to men being the major bread winners. In this case, society tells men they are or should be in control of their homes. When a woman is in charge of the household, a man's position becomes undefined; so a man argues and is uncomfortable with his lack of role in the household. A situation which is and will always be a problem because of the foundation of society being built upon the premise of a man taking care of a woman and not the opposite. A man never asked a woman's father for his blessing by saying "I promise to let you daughter take care of me."

What are we really looking for?

It seems in our society that marriage has become little more than a gaudy ring, and a proposal to honor;cherish; and love one another through thick and thin(of course with your fingers cross). Why do people choose to subject themselves to these social standards of love and comment? Have we become so desperate that we will just gladly accept a role with an individual we care little for or haven't gotten to know completely? How much do we even care to know? Are we just content with embracing as little as possible in order to fulfill our on selfish desires? We speak of change and acceptance but how much are we even willing to alter to achieve this holy grail(Love). I believe as human beings we rarely do what's best for us. Maybe, marriage is one of those institutions which should be avoid like many other undesirables (i.e. Crack, alcohol). Although, with the latter two, your addiction is pitied.
