If you wanted to know why I am so aggravated, it is simply because I do not understand PEOPLE. I peruse the pages of My-space often and I view countless pictures of some individual "flossing" their pseudo-wealth. I love seeing those many outfits and and club pictures of guys and gals living it up; I truly enjoy the many vacation shots of either MIAMI or some Caribbean island. I also can not live without the many photos of those countless attractive people out there. I am not here to bashing but rather to enlighten those dim halogen lambs. Instead of spending such funds on meaningless artifacts trying to fill a void within yourself that is a bottomless pit, get a bite of reality. Understand that such purchases and vague expressions of sexiness only hinder you as a person. The mother of this piece is a beautiful documentary called, "When Leeves Break." This view point depicts the horrific events of hurricane Katrina and it's aftermath(which may have been more horrible). The saddest part of this "doc" is when a few random Black folks are looting department stores. They snatch video games and t.v.'s; and the first thought that came to mind was "nigga you ain't got a home." I have seen this H.B.O. special many times and it continues to be a difficult thing to watch. Seeing my people placed in such difficult circumstances is hard to absorb. I'm not attempting to be some sort of preachy son-of-a-gun which sounds like it; I just want people to get a grip. Nigga that shit you buying don't mean shit! You may ask yourself "what makes this motherfucker think he can judge me?" It's simple, I was that nigga. Now I am an angry Blackman because I am disgusted with my environment. If you think I am full of it, then please meet me one day and we can take a trip down pathetic lane. We will view 10 clothing stores; 8 fast food chains; 6 bum fights; 4 icey ladies; a foot action and foot locker; 9 cell phone spots; 2 pawn shops; 15 hair product stores; a nail salon; and last but not lease, no hood can do without 95 Chinese restaurants(ummm, um, we sure love to eat in the ghetto). I am addressing the South Bronx but all "hoods" look alike from the Heights to Oakland. I must reiterate that I am not Jesus so I can not judge you. I am simply asking that the next time you attempt to purchase some shit you don't truly need or want, you think about the bigger picture and spend your cash on something more meaningful. I can imagine that some individuals may feel somewhat offend by this blog(because that's how us GHETTTOOO peoples bes, we sen-so-tive). Be objective and I am sure you will realize that you too are living in the Matrix and the real world will have you some what of an "Aggravated Man as well.

Something I just can't understand....

One thing i can't understand is how a person can make the statement "I love you, but I am not in love with you!" Throughout my exsistence this has to be the dumbest comment I've ever heard. The funny part is that I have only heard this from women. SO, I must ask are women the only sex capable of loving someone but not being in love with that individual? Does such a statement make any sense? I feel at times I view a world of grey as Black & White and this may be a flaw in my way of thinking..but shit somethings are Black & White. A man approaches a woman and he is thinking "I want to fuck her! Yeah I want to get to know her as well so she will allow me to sex her up." That seems pretty b&w...A man cheats on his woman but she takes him back, what's not b&w about that. The Show

If you every seen the Cosby show, I am sure you wished to have had parents just like Cliff & Clair. The way the two behaved and cared for one another and their children is something truely made for television.We might have all wanted parents like the Huxtables but more or less I always wanted a wife like Clair. Throughout life, it is difficult, damn near immpossible to find an equal (litterally) who is your match in every way. Is such a love even possible? Is such a love even desireable to the average individual any more? Or does the average person seek love,attention and affection and from any sub-par being who seems to care and say "I LOVE You?" To me the Cosby show was less about the children and their affairs rather more geared toward the romance and comedy that the Doctor and Lawyer shared. The debate has been going on for years whether the show does Black folks any justice because of the careers the two parents possessed. I always wondered if the show was realistic due to the amazing relationship Cliff & Clair shared. Any one can become a doctor or lawyer if the necessary work and determination is invested. However, one can try their hardest, one can spill blood to make a relationship work and still end up looking for another. The saddest part is that the person that maybe lying next to you or the individual you call "baby" or the fundementally flawed love of your life you fill "YOU CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT " is not nearly Cliff or Clair!!!!!!!! Here is something I can't understand

What is the deal with women who have their boyfriends splattered all across the many pages that are intended to express YOU as an individual not some sort of deformed beasts attached at the head? Now I can dig "Love" and all that there however, why do some many women want to lose themselves as an "independent" person once this "LOVE" is achieved? One particular question tends to shoot into my brain, what happens if you break up? Will you follow another one of Myspace's cliches and post a clever little excerpt of emotions written in a way that will make me disgorge the remaining respect I hold for you pseudo couples. After the break you so uncleverly post a comment as your New page name "I'm stronger with or without you" " NO other Bitch can feel my shoes" " You don't know what you've got till it's gone!" (Yeah, That'll make him miss you) I use the phrase fake couples because on his page he may not even have a picture posted showing the back of your head and yet you have a million and one photos collectively littering yours. I am not hating on all couples, Married, excellently, post as many pictures as possible. Have been dealing with one another so long you can read that motherfuckers thought's, I give you my blessings. Man I can't stand people!!!!!!!!!If you know me even a little, then this isn't too much of a shock. I say this because of the self-centered nature of the average motherfucker(I am also sure I am sounding redundant). Are you busy to the point where you can sign on to myspace and read a message but not have the common decency to respond to it? I am sure your presidential duties consume the majority of your time and that is quite understandable however, why do you normally read something, anything and not have an opinion...specially when it is directed toward you? Are you so important that a "myspace" page must be private? Who the fuck are you to have your shit private? Are there that many motherfuckers on the computer who are attempting to fuck up your page and potentially stalk you? Guess what, I just realized people are groundhogs, simply afraid of there own shadows. There are a million and one reasons not to do something and the AVERAGE individual will use every single one to get around living life. I use the term living life because when you allow certain decisions to become road blocks they will impede all positive moments(self-explanatory); you become afraid; apprehensive; "let me think about it." I believe

I believe there are a million reasons behind pretty much everything we as human beings do in life. One thing that has been troubling me for a while is the idea of why people choose to bring children into this world? I would love for someone to give me their answer but I feel it's safe to assume that decision varies from person to person. I believe that the day I ever choose to lay down and make a baby, it will be with that SPECIAL person. It will be with a woman I love and cherish. I believe that our love will manifest a child within her womb and we in turn will be a loving family. I tend to imagine myself with a child and our conversation goes like this: "Daddy, what made you want to have a baby"?
"I wanted to have a baby because your mother and I were so deeply in love that we wanted to share this feeling with a life we created. I never thought I could love anything more than your mother until we had you. Once I looked into your beautiful eyes, I realized in that moment your mother loved me unconditionally. In going through the months of torture to give birth to you I believed that she, loved me but no one would love or need me as much as you. I believed, that's why I had a baby!!!!!!" My reason for having a child, what about u?

I am not easily amazed but often I am surprised with human nature and how we tend to shape situations in order to make them seem less negative. My Name is Craig

I normally post a new blog when I can not seem to wrap my mind around issues that are troubling. I recently viewed a movie and I was transformed. This powerful depiction of genocide has awaken in me a sense of deep loathing and regretfulness. SO much can be done, but us as people who aren't threaten by such barbaric actions are usually possessed by a sense of self-centeredness. In leimans terms: we simply don't give a fuck. We are over here, and they are over there. "I have to pay my cell bill and get these new jeans." "I must type to someone on my instant message list and try to fuck someone new!" Truth be told, you can do whatever you want in your life, this is what I would describe as free will. However, if you have the ability to do something a bit more meaningful, why don't you? I'm loving it!!

I love movies! I really do! So much of what we watch resembles our day to day lives. The best type of movie, isn't the blockbuster that makes 300 million nationally and 600 million worldwide; it's the picture that is meant to wake your ass up. Fast Food Nation depicts the the epidemic that plagues this country we live in. Say good bye to the good old days where the majority of life had a personal touch and embrace an age of automated systems and yes, fastfood. This film preaches how we as a nation have grown so impatient, that we rather eat a processed shit infested burger from a cow who suffers madly from all types of diseases. This speaks volumes in describing human nature. Rarely do we care what happens to the person to the left of us, so should we really care whether or not some multi-billion dollar corporation will flood our bodies with some taste, increasingly expensive quisne that has been processed to turn as much profit as possible. The film is more about a processed life than it food. The processed way people say "I love you." The many pictures depicting the very same weekend you had a week earlier. The beautiful captions telling us how much fun you had. I am just sick of you beautiful processed people.is another example of how life is like the movies or the movies being like life.

Holes in Condoms . . .

STDs are very tiny organisms, minuscule in size compared to sperm. These super-small viruses can get through a hole in a condom much more easily than sperm can. For example, HIV (the AIDS-causing virus) is so small that two million of the disease-causing agents could crowd on the period at the end of a sentence.

In 1993 the University of Texas analyzed the results of 11 different studies that had tracked the effectiveness of condoms to prevent transmission of the AIDS virus. The average condom failure rate in the 11 studies for preventing transmission of the AIDS virus was 31%.

One reason condoms fail in preventing the transfer of AIDS is that latex condoms have tiny intrinsic holes called "voids." Did you know that you can use a condom and still get pregnant? A variety of studies have found that condoms have an "annual failure rate" of 10% to 36% when it comes to preventing pregnancy.

Can you imagine the consequences for a couple when their condom fails? It happens all the time! One of the studies found that among teenagers, the condom failure rate regarding pregnancy was 36%! On average, that means that one out of every three teenage couples using condoms will become pregnant each year.

Condoms provide considerably less protection against sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) than they do against pregnancy.

That’s because a girl can get pregnant only at ovulation time (that’s two to three days each month) but STDs can pass from partner to partner at any time of the month.

STDs are frequently passed through "skin to skin" contact even when condoms are used. This can happen because the bacterial or viral germs that cause many serious STDs (such as human papillomavirus, chlamydia, herpes, and syphilis) do not infect just one place on your body. They may infect anywhere in the male or female genital areas.

So, even if the virus or bacteria isn’t passed through tears or holes in the condom itself, you can still get diseases because condoms don’t cover or protect all areas of the genital region. That means condoms don’t prevent many of the STD infections that take place during sexual contact.

Are you old school?

I believe in historical, universal, traditional ceremonies. Birthdays should be celebrated as well as Thanksgivings and Christmases. If you believe in such festivals, then you should more than likely embrace one of the most anticipated unions, that of a man and woman: Weddings. However, people of color within my community (and I am not speaking of Asians) do not feel this is as natural an aspect and traditional event like a Christmas or birthday party. I write this because I see no shortage of children being born. Since I can remember, first came the marriage and then came the baby carriage. Popular children hand games did not influence the majority like one would have thought. I am old school. I still believe in marriage and the idea of raising children and grandchildren with a woman I would want to spend the rest of my life with. Whether, the union would last forever or not, regret would never enter my thought patterns because she would not have been an individual who I didn't love. Children would not be concieved with a woman I didn't love. I am old school in such a way. I believe in the FACT that children should be concieved out of love between two partners and not just a moment of insanity between two lust filled characters. It should be planned out and appreciated like a fine wine however, people are slamming it back like a 40 ounce of malt liquor on a hot summer day. Simply put, if once celebration is practiced, shouldn't a more universally, historically relevent traditon be embraced as well? The biggest scapegoat cliche phrase:"only God can judge me."

What's beauty to you?

I just recently viewed this flim although it was released in the movies back in December. I Am Legend is an incredible flim which stars Will Smith. Mixed reviews to say the least is what I recieved when asked if the movie was good or not....this movie is fantastic. I will no longer take the advice of others when it comes to movies. I am going to judge each one for myself. People are entitled to their own opinions but it’s a fact that this is one great piece of cinema. Will Smith brings you on a ride and stretches his acting chops and devours this flim. Humor, sadness, anger, hope, love, determination are all attributes that encompass the performance of Mr. Smith. If great actors are what you love to watch, then look no further.

They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder(fuck that)...I dare the person who finds Flavor Flav attractive to stand up!!!!! I truly believe that no two individuals are alike but there are two indivudlas more alike than not.. We all eat, sleep, shit and when all those processes are completely, we die! The thing that makes us different is the timing of it all.

Often I think about life and what my goals are? Far to frequently I hear people talk about how they are bored or unhappy and I wonder why? My attempt isn't to sound preachy or anything like that but how can you be unhappy or bored when healthy? So while at work and waiting for that check to come so you can purchase some new trickets that bring you slight moments of happiness, one must ask one's self "is this life?" Daily trips to and from work...jobs that are unpassionately worked...Just asking is that life? Are you living? NOW you know why you are bored!!!

I am only human

Been thinking about relationships and what they mean in this society of ours. Far to often I hear men speak of having girlfriends and even wives but still for a lack of betters words fuck women on the side. I question this logic or lack there of because it's selfish and lustful in nature; As human beings, I feel we all are generally self-centered and lust as well as selfishness are subsidiaries of our me first motivations. I often think about the men who tell me this and how they would react if their significant others behaved in such a manor? Women are usually judged by the harshest standards and try to maintain a form of faithfulness to men who want their cake and desire to eat it as well(I HATE cliches). However, man questions can derive from the nature of human beings....are we to follow our essence and lead lives in which it's socially acceptable to "do your thing on the side?" We are a group of beings in this country who have grown up loving options whether utilized or not; leave a cheating spouse or stay...move on to a new partner to experience similar situations, after all we are all human and suffer from being just that!!!! What The Fuck Happened?

As you can see, many thoughts pass through these ears and I have been thinking about "LOVE!!!" I have a few question...How many times is one allowed to love another? I am not referring to the love for a son or daughter or mother and brother but for a non-blood mother fucker. Are you suppose to love the individual you are dating at the moment just because you're dating them at the moment? How long will people allow the saying "I love the person but I am not in love with them" to even remain a credible answer? I may have written a similar blog but I really need to know. Is this what's "HOT" in the streets? Is this "POPPING?" IS it cool to just go from relationship to relationship with the theory that "I have needs that have to be fulfilled?" How many relationships are enough? How many times can the heart be hurt and disappointed before it is incapable of experiencing the over-worked and over-used cliche description of feelings of happiness and euphoria the word LOVE? I view women having babies without men around...I know I am can be credulous and idealistic but I believe in this ideal of love but maybe that's all it will be from now on.....see you on the other side...Goodbye

What's Going On?

Every other race knows more about Black people then we would care to admit.
Take a look around your "hood" and tell me I'm wrong.
 I would like someone, anyone to prove otherwise.
Spending habits, eating routine, traveling routes...
such knowledge has been obtained and mastered to benefit those who posses
ownership in your neighborhoods.It is rare and practically non exsistence
to see the majority of people who live in these "hoods" benefit from
it's own people.  Money is made and taking from the community whether
by individuals who have no ties to the community or by those who can no
longer stand the environment.
   Koreans know you don't like how you look so come buy some "good" hair...
The Chinese restaurant understands you don't like to cook so they'll be
open until 12 midnight attempting to clog those precious arteries as best they
can; along with the McDonalds, White Castle, and Burger King; which are all open
late night and seem to be getting more expensive by the day. Health food stores?
I will need your help locating them. Did I forget to mention the one book store
closed down years ago and there is a liquor store in it's place. Why read if you
can get drunk right? Which corner store shall we get some milk from, The one run by
the middle eastern men or the one blasting the Hispanic radio station? I do
embrace the fact I can not read but I gots to get fly this weekend thanks to Jimmy Jazz,
Footlocker, Dr. Jays or any other mom and pop clothing shop.
 Buying some new sneakers for me and the kids is so much more important
than trying to save or purchasing some items with redeeming values.
I always feel sexiest when the cops flirt with me and aren't
protecting the innocent. Yes, the hood, you gotta love it!!!

Does It even matter?

Something that's just been on my mind is whether women find intelligence attractive? It's the politically correct thing to say yes but do you really? I am just wondering this because I never here of women mentioning how they would like a man who is intelligent, well read, well spoken, worldly. Rather, "he must be tall, good dresser, have all his hair, nice car? Instead of more meaningful characteristics. I constantly hear how men aren't shit. Or they will speak on how men cheat and get caught. Why is he cheating with a woman who lives in the same building? Why is he sleeping with a woman in your apartment? When I was younger and I do not believe I am that out dated but a woman wanted to marry a doctor or lawyer; at least a man with a job. Women seem to have thrown the idea of marriage out the window and have babies by guys who don't even have high school diplomas. HE is cheating and is bad at a relationship maybe because he is just not that bright? Have you ever asked him what his favorite book is? What's his favorite author maybe? What are his views about the socio-economic issues plaguing Black people? Maybe you never asked because you never thought to ask such questions that may gauge his intellect? Maybe it's because it does not matter to you? So when you are crying to your friend about the why's, just think to yourself, he just may not be that bright. However, as long as he can "get it up" it's "all good." You will have his baby and your mother will be proud because you didn't marry that professional man rather just some man who can't spell professional. Good Job young lady...this can even be applied to men. Keep it up and be proud of absolutely nothing.

Racist!!

Who in the hell said you were better? Last time I checked, you lived upstairs from me and not somewhere on the upper east side. This is becoming painfully disturbing because I am hearing some ignorant madness about how Hispanic people are not feeling Black people. I say Hispanic and not Spanish because if you are Hispanic, it means that you are not White. People of color in this country have benefited from the many struggles of Black people. I believe there is no need for me to mention the Civil Rights Movement. However, we are disliked as if we, have enslaved races throughout the world and imperial civilized nations. You don't like me due to a few movies depicting a social economic struggle that plagues not only Blacks but all those who live the "ghettos" or "slums" of America. People say I am not attracted to Black people. What makes us unappealing? What makes us not your type?I believe Paul Mooney put it best "everybody wanna be a nigga but no body wanna be a nigga." It's almost as if it's become acceptable to be a begot. I suppose since Barrack Obama has been elected president, racism does not exist any longer?
